Houston · Vietnamese Cuisine
A warm corner of Houston where family recipes simmer slowly and every bowl carries the comfort of a home-cooked meal. Welcome to Chao Bistro Lau and Oc.
Our Story
At Chao Bistro Lau and Oc Restaurant, we believe the best meals begin with patience — slow-simmered broth, hand-pulled noodles, and ingredients chosen with care. Our kitchen draws from generations of Vietnamese culinary tradition, bringing the warmth of a family table to every plate we serve.
Located on Wilcrest Drive in Houston, we've built a neighborhood gathering place where neighbors become regulars, and regulars become friends. It's not just a restaurant — it's a place you'll want to come back to.

From Our Kitchen
Each dish is prepared fresh to order, using recipes passed down through our family.
What Makes Us Different
Walk in like you're visiting family. We treat every guest with the same hospitality we'd offer our own table.
Our pho broth is made from scratch each morning — bones, aromatics, and time, the way it's supposed to be.
Every ingredient is chosen deliberately. Every dish is prepared with the attention it deserves.
We're proud to be part of the Wilcrest community — a place where regulars are known by name.
